Bill Muszala owns ATW Aviation, which specializes in Piston Powered Aircraft restoration and repair. Bill has always been a mechanic and pilot, along with flying jobs like skydivers and crop spraying in DC-3s. After that, he went on to fly C-119s and Grumman S-2s for fire fighting duties. But above all, his passion has always been restoring and flying WWII aircraft.

Bill’s love of aviation came from a long line of aviators from as early as World War I. He started out building models with his brother. He was exposed to many true aviators including Ross Diehl, Jim Nunn, Al Redick, and Ed Maloney. They and many more formed him into the pilot he is today. He worked at Aerosport in Chino, CA under Jerry Morrison. From that point, he earned his private pilot’s license and began flying the T-6. Gaining time and experience in the T-6 allowed him to receive his commercial pilot’s license. His first paying job as a pilot was flying skydivers in Lake Elsinore, CA. Bill was next employed as a mechanic and co-pilot flying fire fighting aerial tankers. He presently owns ATW Aviation Inc, a Warbird restoration and maintenance company located in Marana, Arizona.
